CLC Class of February, 2014

Five members of the South Sound Composite Squadron participated in the Corporate Leadership Course at Wing HQ February 1st and 2nd.

Capt Tom Hoffer and Capt Scott Dean were co-directors of the course, and Maj Frank deBros assisted as an instructor.  Capt Percy Newby and Capt Kim Russell were part of the graduating class of 15 that included dedicated Senior Members from across the Wing, from Peninsula to Spokane.  Capt Sam Hooker also assisted as an instructor and as the Assistant Wing Professional Development Officer.

The Corporate Leadership Course examines the relationship between the Squadrons and the Wing, and how the Wing works to make sure that the three missions of Civil Air Patrol are being carried out.  It is required for Level III of the Professional Development Program for Senior Members, which must be achieved before a member can be considered for a Duty Performance promotion to Major.
