Registration is now open for the Washington Training Academy being held at Camp Murray from 15-17 February.  The cost is $20 for the weekend,

There are several options for classes.
  1. Ground Team Training: Phase 2
  2. Initial Mission Radio Operator Training
  3. Aerospace Education
  4. DFAC
The Ground Team Training is continuing from the October Class.  If you were not a part of it but have some previous training, you can contact Capt. Travis Stanley (travis.stanley@wawg.cap.gov) to see if you are ready for this stage.

The Initial Mission Radio Operator Training covers the tasks involved in becoming a Mission Radio Operator.  ICUT is needed before the class (at least the online portion).  The goal is to get students ready to operate as a trainees at a mission.

This month, the AE class will be visiting the Maintenance and Flight Sim facilities at Alaska Airlines and visit the manufacturing facilities at Boeing.

In addition to the training opportunities, WTA provides a great place to meet people from outside the squadron and develop relationships that will last a lifetime.
