Meetings are Thursdays from 6pm to about 8:45pm.

Uniforms
PT: Black t-shirt (activity t-shirt or plain black), navy blue athletic shorts or athletic pants, and running shoes. Shorts must not be shorter than mid-thigh. Boots are expressly forbidden during fitness activities.

Working Uniform: Uniforms listed in CAPM 39-1 Chapter 5. This includes ABU, BDU, CFU, and Polo. If you do not have the prescribed uniform, please wear a plain black t-shirt and jeans.
 
Service Uniform: Uniforms specified as such by CAPM 39-1 Table 1-1. Note that the "polo" uniform is also acceptable. If you do not have a uniform, please wear a white or light blue collared shirt or blouse and dark pants or skirt (black, dark blue, or gray are preferred). Skirts must extend to at least the knee.

Additional Information: HYDRATE OR DIE! One of the leading causes injury during PT is dehydration! Make sure you hydrate a lot this week!

Subject: Aerospace Education
Instructor: 2d Lt Kevin Jessee
Notes: We will be covering rockets and the progress being made. Also plan on a lively conversation about What Makes an Airplane Fly. Study up in your books and come prepared to engage in the conversation. Afterwards, there will be a spirited game to challenge our aviation knowledge.

Class 2:
Subject: Leadership & Drill
Instructor: Cadet Staff
Notes: Cadets who have been scheduled for drill tests will have them completed while remaining cadets work on specific drill movements.

Additional:
Any Senior Members interested in assisting with cadet testing should attend the Testing Officer's Meeting in the office during Lt Jessee's Aerospace class. Our Squadron Testing Officer, Lt Col Cathy Egan, will be discussing testing procedures and expectations as well as creating a list to update Duty Assignments.

The Mission Scanner Class will be postponed as the students will not be available during the meeting.

As always: Make sure that you bring hydration, paper/notebook, and writing utensils to every meeting.

Notes: We will be improving our drill and taking drill tests please let your element leaders know if you need one by the end of this weekend. There is a possibility we will also be doing a TLP during this time. Those who need other tests than drill tests will also be testing make sure to let your element leader know what you need so that you can take your test.

Subject: Character Development
Instructor: Capt. Thorn

Additional:
Those that were not present for the safety stand down will be taking the safety stand down in place of class 1. Do not forget to build your stage one rockets and send a picture of them to Lt. Jesse.

Agenda: This is our annual Safety Down Day. We will be covering material that needs to be renewed annually, including Aircraft Ground Handling and Operational Risk Management.

Anyone unable to attend this meeting will need to complete the training individually and report completion through their Chain of Command.

We will be having our Health & Fitness Zone testing. This is done once per quarter and having a valid HFZ score within the previous six months is a requirement for promotion.
BRING WATER!
Senior members not directly involved in testing will be working with the Wing Communication Exercise.

We will have our monthly Safety Brief, followed by ES training on eServices and Radios. This training is for ALL members, not just cadets. Bring water and materials to take notes.

We are still collecting the $15 fee for rocketry. We have the rockets, we just need the students.

Notes: As we begin to work more on drill, the cadets will be doing pass in reviews. As such the cadets will be instructed on the inner-workings of this ceremony.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

There is no cadet meeting this week. There is a Planning Meeting on Saturday for Senior Members (parents are welcome to attend) at the Armory at 1900, but the next cadet meeting will be 29 November.
